Maryland's Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) is our partner that works with us to preserve, protect, and promote the civil, human, and linguistic rights of Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deafblind Marylanders as stated in MDAD's mission. ODHH will be hosting Legislative Awareness Day on Monday, February 15th at the Department of Legislative Services in Annapolis, MD.

The event will impart the importance of the legislative process to the Maryland deaf community. The keynote speaker is, deaf himself, Kelby Brick, Esq., CDI., who will present in American Sign Language (ASL). The event agenda also includes awards to follow and the confirmation hearing for the appointment of Kelby Brick as the Director of ODHH.
