MDAD is committed to an investment in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth of Maryland, guiding them to become tomorrow's leaders. We strive to develop leadership, self-confidence and empowerment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth.
MDAD youth members learn and practice leadership skills, teamwork, responsibility, and self-confidence and have the opportunity to meet and interact with other deaf youth from all over the state. Joining MDAD provides outstanding experience that can springboard your future.
The National Association of the Deaf also provides a variety of youth programs. Through these activities the Junior NAD program pursues its motto: "Promoting the Tomorrow of All the Deaf by Working with the Deaf Youth of Today."
